Z is for Zebra. Here we have come full circle along with the letter chart on the wall, if A is for Apple, then Z HAS to be for Zebra! Meet my lovely garden zebras, I commented to my friend, Betty how pretty I thought they were, and she insisted I take them home. She is a kind and generous woman.
Live zebras fascinate me too, but there aren't too many up here in the Northeast.
The other thing that came to mind was the "zzzzzz" of a nap, and one day back in the 70's when my poor Mom fell asleep on the couch, a kid with a camera and maybe a little too much time on her hands can be an impish thing! I remember trying not to giggle too much so I wouldn't wake her up. When I was done, I took everything away, and she never knew until the film came back! Can you see the "Z" in the second photo? The other paper says "I'm tired" Oh so many memories in those photos...
This A to Z has been so much fun, thank you all, I'm glad I did it!

How funny. We used to do that, back in the day. My mom said it was an adventure getting our picts developed. Love your yellow picture too. Cheery!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations in completing the A to Z Challenge.

A to Z AMBASSADOR.
congrats, we made it through. Love the old pictures!
ReplyDeleteGood way to end it it. I thought for a minute you meant real zebras. They look so real. Congrats on getting through. It was crazy.
ReplyDeleteThey were saying they've put in some grass lands at Animal Kingdom in Disney for Zebras. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Love those pictures. That's the kind of thing my youngest would do. =)
I loved this post! I love that your friend was so sweet that she gave you those zebras. I remember meeting a woman like this once, I told her I liked her earrings and she later gave them to my mom. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the photos of your mom napping. Too cute. What memories that must bring up for you.
Congrats on completing a-z. :)
That's pretty cool to catch your mom sleeping and get shots of it. Kudos to you! Congrats on finishing the Challenge.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking of your trying to be a mom friend...
